New Exchange Server Video Tutorial: Import SSL Certificate and Assign to IIS

Import SSL Certificate and Assign to IIS - view details
A common file format for transferring an SSL certificate from one server to another is the .pfx file. When you install the Exchange 2007 server, Windows brews its own SSL certificate for this. This certificate is only suitable for some initial configurations but not for putting your server in to production. In this video tutorial Grant will show you how you can take a .pfx file and import it to your exchange server.

Highlights from this video:
  • What does a .pfx file contain?
  • Using IIS to remove and import old SSL certificates
  • Verifying a successful import via PowerShell
and much more
