LearnItFirst.com Partners With Many Vendors to Create Exciting Offers for Our Users
We here at LearnItFirst.com (
about us
) like to give our customers "something for nothing" as often as we can and we've found that partnering with other vendors to trade promotions is a great way to:
Give our customers access to a product/service they may not have otherwise heard about at a discount/introductory rate
Gain market exposure by having our business presented to other potential customers
Keep advertising costs down but still attract visitors (which, in turn, helps keep our prices low!)
The basic premise is that we like to trade coupons with other vendors. If we decide to enter into a partnership with a vendor, we give that vendor a coupon that they can give their users. The vendor then gives our users a coupon that our folks can use to get discounts, free stuff, etc. In other words, both LearnItFirst.com and the vendor have just given their customers "something for nothing".
How We Promote Our Partners
Once we agree with a vendor on a partnership, we then decide how best to promote that partnership. Some of the options we have to promote these partnerships include:
Send out a
newsletter
featuring the vendor to our subscribers
Add the offer as a "News Item" on our sites
News Items get
front page access
on
all of our sites
they are overwritten by a new news item (generally one week) and stay on our "News Item" page for months
Put a "sticky" in all of
our forums
with the offer
Blog posts about the offer in
our blogs
Create a page on our site featuring the promotion similar to
this page
that features DiscountASP.net
Submit press releases to support the partnership
What We Expect From a Partner
We expect our partners to promote the offer we provide to their users in a similar fashion as listed above including (but not required/limited to):
Send out a newsletter or email blast featuring our offer to the partner's members/user-baser
Add our offer into control panels/company news sections of the website (preferably with front page access)
Blog posts
Create a page on the partner's website featuring the promotion
Submit press releases to support the partnership
Who Can Become a LearnItFirst.com Partner?
Our main tenet is that we only partner with companies who provide products and services that we think will be of value to our customers. We therefore give preference to companies who are in the following markets:
Web hosting
- our ASP.NET/Javascript customers love getting discounted hosting offers
Management Tools
- Whether it's SQL, C#, or Exchange, our customers like to get a 20% off coupon to great management tools
Brick and Mortar training
- We firmly believe that in-person training is far superior to video training but the fact is that in-person training is cost-prohibitve to many people.
Test Prep/Certification Prep
- Many of our customers are out to get their Microsoft/Java/etc training certification and would love to get a discount on training materials
Development Tools/Coding Enhancements
- Our ASP.NET/C#/Visual Basic/Reporting Services/SQL customers would love to get a 15% off coupon for a tool that makes their like easier.
Did we forget something? Perhaps our list isn't complete and your company should be a LearnItFirst.com partner even though your market isn't listed above. No problem -
