Questions about the courses/videos
How do I view the videos? On a Mac, you can use QuickTime or any movie/video
player that supports AVI files or MP4. On a Windows PC, you can use Windows Media
Player or any movie/video player that supports AVI files or MP4. On a mobile device,
you will need a device that supports MP4 video.
Is this "streaming video"? No, this is not streaming video. You
download the video files to your local device and watch them locally. (And you might
want to read the next FAQ too!)
Do I need an internet connection to watch the videos? No, you do not need
an internet connection to watch the videos. You will, however, need an internet
connection to download the videos. We also offer DVD mail copies for users
who prefer a hard copy (more information).
How many videos can I download? You can download every video in the course(s)
you have access to, subject to our Terms of Service of
course.
What's the difference between the free videos and the subscriber videos?
Nothing - every once in a while, we choose a few of the subscriber-only videos and
make that video available for free.
How long are the videos? Most of our videos are between 5 and 20 minutes
long and around 4-18MB in size. That's the perfect size to download in a few seconds
to a few minutes (depending on your connection speed).
Can I watch these videos on my {Mac, Windows PC, iPhone, Android, Linux, etc}?
Yes. Laptop, desktop, and server computers will require the TSCC codec to be installed
prior to viewing our AVI videos. Mobile device users (iPad, Blackberry, et al) will
require MP4 videos. Most courses have both AVI and MP4 files available. For more
information about how to use the TSCC codec, visit this
page.
Will this training help me pass a certification exam? Yes, absolutely! Please
visit this page for more details.
What are the system requirements for viewing the videos? Please visit our
system requirements page for full details.

Questions about the courses/videos
Do you offer a discount for purchasing multiple training courses? Absolutely!
Our shopping cart is well trained in giving discounts. All you need to do is to
add more than one course to your cart and it will automatically discount your purchase.
Can I create a custom package out of any 4 courses, and still get the $299.95 package
price? Yes! The easiest thing to do is to purchase a pre-built package from
our packages page and then
contact us to let us know what changes you would like.
Do the videos ever expire? What happens when my subscription period is over?
No! These videos are yours to keep as long as you want to keep them. The only thing
that "expires" is the option to download the videos from the training
course. Example, let's say that you purchased the SQL Server 2012 Administration
course. You have up to one year to download your videos. After the one year access
period is up, you may no longer download videos however
the videos that you have already downloaded do not expire - you can watch them
2, 3, or even 10 years from now!
How soon before I can watch the videos? Instantly upon credit card or PayPal
payment.
What payment options do you accept? Whew - a lot of them!
This page better explains all of the various payment options:

When I purchase a course, does that mean I can download every video on LearnItFirst?
No, each course requires a separate license. Just as you would expect to buy separate
books for separate subjects in a bookstore, our courses require separate licenses.
Do you do
recurring billing? Will my credit card be charged again when my access expires?
No, this is a one-time charge.
