What file format do your videos
use?
Our videos are standard .AVIs to ensure that users across multiple platforms can view the videos. You
must have the correct codec installed to view the videos. Click here
to learn more.
Will these videos work on my iPhone/iTouch/Blackberry/iPod/Creative
Zen/Zune?
Our videos are standard AVIs so, yes, they will work on any portable device. To play our videos on most
portable devices, you may need to convert them to .mp4 format.
Will these videos play on a Mac?
Yes but you must install the correct codec. Click here to learn more.
Do you have an affiliate/referral
program?
Not at this time but we are working on it!
Do I need a high-speed/broadband
Internet connection to download your videos?
It depends on your patience level! Most of our videos are in the 3MB-8MB range but some of the longer
videos can reach 25MBs. If you are on a dial-up web connection and do not mind waiting 45 minutes for
a video to download, then we welcome you as a subscriber!
Can I transfer/move/give my training course to my (friend/co-worker/etc)?
Unfortunately, no. Due to the low cost of our training courses, they are for you only and are non-transferable.
Can I share/distribute my videos with my (friends/co-workers)?
Please be considerate when sharing with friends and co-workers. We ask that you do not share or redistribute more than one or two videos.
We would prefer that you refer your friends to our free online training videos page.
I just signed up - how do I
download the videos?
First thing: to download your videos, you must be logged in. Once you are logged in, browse to the Big
List of Videos for your training course and just click the "Download" link next to the video(s) you want to download.
Click here to view the courses you have access to.
Where do I find my receipt(s)?
Receipts and order history (among other things) are in the My Account
section.
Who records your videos?
Our videos are recorded by our own expert instructors who are also experienced consultants in their
field. Read more about our instructors
Can I request a video on a specific
topic?
By all means! Send us an email and suggest a topic - we'd love to hear from you.
One of the great things about our training model is that you can make recommendations for
future videos and we'll work very hard to implement them. Although we can't promise to create videos
for any and all suggestions, we certainly will try!
Do you offer a discount for purchasing
multiple training courses?
Of course! For two or three course purchases, your discount will be applied automatically in the cart.
For those wanting maximum savings, we have several
pre-selected training packages that are available at 25%
discount off their individual course prices. For someone who wants to have access to whatever training they want,
we offer our LearnItFirst Voucher
Packs.
I'm getting errors using my download
manager. Which download managers are supported?
At this time, no download managers are supported and visitors using them have reported errors. For best
results, simply download the file using your browser.
I can hear the presentation but
I don't see the video. Why don't I see video?
You must install the correct codec to view the video portion. Once you do that, you'll be able to see
video. Click here to download the correct codec for your operating
system.
The video is very blurry (or poor
quality). Isn't it supposed to look better?
The video should most definitely not be blurry. In fact, we probably have the highest quality video
that you can find on the web. The reason this occurs, generally, is that you are using Windows Media
Player (WMP) and the default settings might cause it to overlay a layer on top
of our video. Click here to learn how to resolve this issue.
I'm having trouble downloading the
videos. What could be wrong?
Try downloading one of our free online training videos.
If you can download the free videos but not the subscriber videos, then the first thing to check is
whether you are successfully logged in. If you are logged in and still having trouble, the next step
in the troubleshooting process would be to check to see whether or not you have access to that particular
course. Click here to view the courses that you have access to.
If you are logged in with a current subscription and are still experiencing problems, please
send us an email.
If you are unable to download our free videos, the most likely reason for the problem is a firewall
is blocking the downloads. The following programs are only a few popular brands of firewalls:
- ZoneAlarm Firewall
- Norton Personal Firewall
- McAfee Firewall
- SyGate Personal Firewall
- Kerio Personal Firewall
- Windows Firewall
- Windows XP Internet Connection Firewall
If you are having trouble downloading videos please check the instructions provided on the firewall
manufacturer's support site, or contact their support department for further assistance. Due to the
number of bugs and inconsistent support for RFCs among today's firewalls, it is simply not possible
for us to provide detailed assistance.
