IF, WHILE, GOTO, BEGIN and END are all essential parts of the SQL language and this video, part 1 in our section on using conditional statements, focuses on teaching them to you. Many people get confused when working with SQL's IF statement becuase there is no END IF syntax and the rules for execution are not intuitive perhaps. This video explains the proper use of IF along with BEGIN and END to help control code execution.
