Great trainers offer students the chance to gain experience vicariously - the student
has the chance to absorb the instructor's "war stories" and soak up the
lessons learned. The only way to do that is to take courses from an instructor who
has been "in the trenches"; someone who has worked day in, day out with
the given technology who can now pass that experience on to you.

as well as the pitfalls to avoid.
Our Trainers Are Subject Matter Experts
You can tell within just the first few minutes of watching
our free videos: our instructors have "been there, done that"
and are clearly experts on what they teach. We feel strongly that the best user
experience comes about when our instructors speak from experience and therefore we
screen each potential instructor to determine background, prior projects, and work experience
to ensure that our instructors have the real-world experience
We believe that the only way to ensure that you receive practical and applicable
knowledge is to get training from instructors who are actively practicing what they preach.
Our Trainers Are Expert Trainers
Our instructors are screened for both technical expertise as well as for the ability to
teach. When we evaluate a trainer, we look for things like, "Can this person take complex topics and
explain them in a simple way?" If they can't, they won't get hired - it's as simple as that.
After the interviews, our instructors then are put through a rigorous training master class
that ensures that our instructors are prepared to teach the LearnItFirst way!
